Downspouts are vertical pipes that are used to direct rainwater from the roof to the ground. Downspouts are most commonly seen attached to the corners of a home. Without a downspout, water will fall off a roof and can pool around the foundation, leaking through cracks in the walls and windows and causing severe damage to the home. These essential drainage pipes protect a building's foundation by diverting the water away so that flooding and damage does not occur.
Half Round Elbows Elbows are the fittings that connect the Half Round Gutter and the round downspout. Two elbows attached to the round outlet are traditionally used to run the underside of the eav in order to mount the downspout to the wall of the structure. Elbows can be attached to the underside of the round downspout in order to disperse the water in the desired direction.
K Style Elbows Elbows are
fittings that attach to the downspout. One end of the gutter elbow is
crimped so that it can fit inside another elbow or downspout. Elbows are
used at the bottom of the downspout at ground level to direct drainage
in a particular direction
